Why is the Forest Beautiful?

Albert Marshall, a MikMaq elder, and Murdena Marshall.  It is learning to see from one eye with the strength of Indigenous ways of knowing and being and from the other eye with the strengths of Western ways of knowing and being, and  to learn how to use both of these eyes together. Two-Eyed Seeing adamantly, respectfully, and passionately asks that we bring together our different wisdoms and ways of knowing to motivate people, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal alike, to use all our understandings so we can make this world a better place for all.
